Another terrific Quaker inspired project by Amaryllis Artworks.
The Quaker Pear is shown in three sizes in three different colorways. The motifs are the same for all three pears. The fabric and threads are changed though, creating three very different looks.
The motifs on the pear are not historical Quaker motifs, but the designers own renditions that were inspired by Quaker designs. There is a pear and an acorn motif on each of the three sides of the pear. There is also a motif of an animal on each side, one side has a bird, one side a rabbit, and one side a squirrel.
You can choose to make the pears as shown. Or choose your own fabric and thread colors. There are so many wonderful choices for fabrics and threads, the sky is the limit.
Detailed finishing instructions included with the pattern.
