This is a reproduction of an antique European sampler, circa 1790.The original sampler has been embroidered with silk threads on fine uneven-weave linen (20W x 17H threads/cm).
Gigi R Designs reproduction is charted for 40 count linen and hand dyed cotton threads with a DMC alternative. For some colours only DMC numbers are given.

Model stitched on 40 count fabric - 'Beige' by Weeks Dye Works with one strand of embroidery floss.
