Only a little is known about Marie Ginneston. It is believed that she was born in Laguiole, Averyron, Midi-Pyrenees on 18 May 1873, married Francois Fontanier and had 4 children. Averyron is in the southern part of France, beautiful and picturesque, Laguiole is famous for its cheese and the birthplace of the Laguiole knife.
